we where running the gold 1000 on are 50 but i think it is a little weak and changed to red hebo and have had alot better luck
my bet is that 1500 is close but your roller weight should be round 4.25 give or take .25

we have an aftermarket cylinder, 90 pipe and we use that spring with 3.75 rollers and it works perfect.

i run the 787 belt.i plan on trying out the 782 belt soon. The motor is a molassi mhr built and ported by billy holt.My boy always takes the holeshot when he's not trying to plow through the gate LOL.There are some hetrick polini built motors we are running against and we run with them all day long. They do make alittle more power than use but we can beat them.Power is one thing you need but proper clutching makes all the difference.

Since you are awre of where you make power then all you need you need to do is monitor when the rpms are and make the roller weight adjustment.

If you are spinning way past the desired rpm range then try heavier rollers and if you are not reaching the desired range try lighter rollers

There is a lot more to it then this, but this should get you going in the right direction.

A tach is a mandatory part of a CVT tuner's tool box

Good luck
