Arsene Racing Cylinder?

just picked up this cylinder for 100 bucks. I was wonderin how you guys thought the porting looked. Ive never seen an exhaust port that looked like this? Good deal for 100 bucks? cool head, 19cc dome, 66.25 bore, pro x piston in useable shape.

You could probably get close to $100 just for the cool head... good deal.

Porting is def interesting. Do the exhaust ports have sharp edges?

Arsene Racing (Sylvain Arseneault) is located here in Canada, at Trois-Rivières more exactly, he was Jasmin Plante engine builder back in 01-02, he's doing a great job for sure!

PT ported cylinders; back in the early 90’s had similar extended exhaust ports to side, except they connected the “Mickey Mouse” ears from the top of the exhaust to the bottom on an angular line.

I don’t really like how sharp those port windows look; a little more chamfering of the edges would go a long way in helping the rings survive longer. Unless the picture is just an illusion and the edges are generously chamfered or have adequate radiuses…regardless; good buy for $100.

Nasty seize line/mark running vertically on the exhaust bridge…Ouch on the collar bone!

You can trust this porting job , it's the same as i did for Jasmin Plante when he started to race AMA in 2001 ...

it have a serial # on the left side , on the intake so give me the # and i can tell you exactly the spec about this job.

you have to verify which dome cc you have and you have to put the right head gasket too !!!
