I wondered if any of you knew how to control some of the blurr I get on my camera lately.. It takes very nice clear pics, but how do I control the blurr on fast shooting pics?? At the races this wk end is the first time I have had this problem.. My camera is a Sony Cyber-shot ps dsc71 3.2 pixel.. Thanks for any info...;)

QJ...try a few things....

1) adjust the cameras flash setting to allow +3 stops more light in

2) set the camera film speed(i know its digital but some allow it) to a faster speed...1000....1600

3) pan the camera.....follow the action and snap the pic never slowing down the camera...kinda like following thru with your golf swing

this pic is with the flash and me panning the camera...it will show motion...kinda cool:p

even on very dark days...it pays to follow and pan the camera

getting used to the delay on a digital can be very trying. i still prefer my 35mm over the digital for action pics......but as many pics as i take id go broke developing them all:p

i am in a photo class and we call it show action, it is when they look like they are going real fast, it takes practice to get it just right

i basically pan the camera, like pappy said, it works really well(i have a 3 year old camera thats not all that great to begin with)....looks like ur daughter is racing qj....howd she do?..heres a pic that Bens dad took with his $1000 camera...its a really nice camera, it can take pictures like an automatic firearm, one right after another, to get better action pics...

In a couple years im gonna take a photography class that counts as both highschool and college credits. Man a class that counts as double and you can do stuff you like. Life dont get much better than that with school:) I love takin pics with my 35mm camera cuzz there is barely any delay unlike my dads digital camera which is almost a 1 second delay:huh

I am pretty sure they call it a power winder on a 35mm camera. I got one but you can go through alot of film that way. But hey film was meant to be used. You can get great action sequences that way.

You still need to learn how to shoot (people in general) but what amazes me is how far the equipment has come in 5 years. A 12-15 mp SLR is the norm now:p 5 years ago this would have been a blurred mess, now with more learnin' and better gear, I dont worry so much about the darkeness unless it a big event I am covering.
