cosmicquads.com will make you a 100% oem new factory matching seat cover. i use them alot.

and for the brake ressy most guys are running twist off caps, like the dirtbikes have. i run a rm80 and it was $5 on ebay. mount it to your airbox inside away form exhaust.

Yeah, I'd take a used stock cover if I could find one cheap.

Not sure which route I'll go with this thing. I'd love to do 07'-up plastics/seat to bring it really up to date. But, if I stick with the early style plastics I'll look into them... thanks again.

I still haven't had a chance to do much with this thing since getting it the other night. I need to pull the swingarm bolt/swingarm out to see exactly what all I need there.

Also, top priority will be the swingarm, rear brakes reservoir, and getting the motor rebuilt so that its rideable. Then I can figure out what else to do next.

Got it cleaned up! Then I started the disassembly process...

The swingarm bolt came out without any issues. So I don't need that anymore, just bushings!!!

I'll let you guys know on the other "wanted items".

Ok... little update, got the 250X stripped to a bare frame and a big pile of parts...haha.

Found out a few things. I don't need the swingarm bolt, its fine. And, I'll just get new Pivot Works swingarm bearings.

--Still would like to find a good set of stock a-arms/shocks/tierods
