I am looking at a Typhoon 90 for $1400.
Who services these quads?

I had an eton that once it came time for repairs was a pain to find a local service center.

Any cycle shop should be able to "service" the bike. A motor, is a motor, is a motor. As far as "Typhoon" dealers.... hardly any of them are knowledgeable anyway and I wouldn't trust them to change the oil in my lawn mower. Normally we help each other out here and we do well at doing our own bike service.

Thanks.
Yes I had an eton 70 and so did my friend.
Both our motors ended up going to crap and there was nobody I could find within an hours drive that even wanted to touch it.
My friend is looking at this Typhoon and although the package sounds amazing for the $$$, he didn't want to get stuck with another quad nobody would service.

Honda dealers are a little better for the Xtremes becuase of the motor being so much like the Honda's.
and yes most Xtreme Dealers are clueless, sorry if you looking.
take care good luck

Really?
Its a 2007, brand new.
Supposedly it was $2100 in 2007 and is currently assembled.
What should I offer?

FWIW, these things look amazing for the $$$.

Thanks a lot guys!

There are no xtreme dealers xtreme is out of biz. Most dealers were car lots anyhow That is the trouble with the china suff ,most pit bike parts will work on the typhoon but some of the parts are hit and miss We have had two of these quads Dylan still has his race quad and they can be made into good bikes but learn to work on them yourself no dealership wants anything to do with them If you cannot do the work buy a honda or a yamaha you will have no trouble getting it serviced

I agree with Hondo that $1400 is too much. I've seen them here in Florida for $700 used. If you're mechanically inclined working on the bike will be no issue. And you can also order parts from him as he is a dealer and knows the bike very well. If you're not mechanically inclined you may want to look at something else like lemdad said.
