i am looking to get a new piston, maybe a new cam while im at it. i am keeping stock bore and only getting a 10-1 or 10.5-1. because i have a sparks key. i figured while im replacing the head gasket i might as well do a make over. any advice is appreciated

I have always used wiseco, never had any issues. JE is also very good and many use thier pistons.

Id say they are about even and the only 2 I would use.

its JE for me, even tho im running a wiseco

Its because at the time i rebuilt my motor JE wasnt making pistons they had production shut down for a month or 2 and i didnt feel like waiting for a piston

I also vote for JE its the best piston on the market. We use them in all our race engines. I went with a wiseco for the same reasons as redneckrider.

They are all good, but I would say CP, JE, Wiseco

I am running a wiseco, but Je is great also. Have ran both brands in my car engines, with out issue. Actually have a set of wisecos now for my forged ls engine. can't go wrong with either IMO
