How much power would i get if i were to put an outwears air box top on my quad?

top end?

low end?

Its not gonna make a huge noticeable difference.

Add in a muffler and then you might feel something.

If you want true power you need a muffler, cam, sparks key perhaps, jetted, airbox and if you really want some power a larger bore.

With more air you usually get better top end and less bottom end. You won't notice much loss on the bottom, rather your bike may run smoother when jetted correctly.

But for a stock engine, it's not that big of a deal and listen to CJM about the keys and cams.

I am going to assume that you have an aftermarket air filter already.

If that is so, taking your lid off or putting an outerwears top on your airbox will give you a slight boost in power, maybe 1 hp at most, probably less.

If you do not have aftermarket air filter get one and then do this.

If you already have your lid off, you will not notice anything.

The timing key is the best mod for the money for a stock bore EX. It's $20 of awesomness.

i do already have a pipe and air filter right now but ill look into the other ideas you guys have gave me

450r carb is a great addition for cheap money. not huge gains stock but great throttle response. the gains are more and more as you add on the extras
