is there any reason i wouldnt be able to stand my quad upright for a a day? reason being is i have a project im working on in my garage(wich is also a wood shop) and space is at a premium. its ok to keep it out side now but when the snow starts coming it will be another story...

Any ideas Gents?

I have done it for a couple days. turn fuel off at tank, drain carb. bowl. Make sure that your gas tank is not full or fuel will come out of the overflow, unless you plug it.

It'll be fine for many days like that, no problem. Also, remember, that when you DO set it back down on all fours,.. do not try to start it right away. Let it sit for some time (15 - 30 minutes), to let the oil flow back.

I occaisionally transport all 4 of my quads standing on their tails.
may be unnecessary, but I like to let them sit on all four wheels, for 30 minutes, then I will put the kill switch in the off position, and crank the starter 2 or 3 times for about 15 seconds each, before actually starting the engine.

better safe than sorry.

I think its time for a larger trailer Ron.

I really dig those triton style plywood trailers. Buddy of mine has one that was originally for sleds and he can fit 3 of them on there no problem. In your case it might be to small.

I know double decker trailer!!!

Everything you can see in this pic, (except for the Truck/Camper itself), fits with not 1" to spare...

I only use the box trailer when we are going to the Lakebed to also do some Landsailing, as well as riding the ATV's.
If we are going some other place than the Lakebed, I use the open trailer.

Yeah, it's a TIGHT Fit either way,... LOL!!!

ron- whats happens in a few yrs when your daughter gets a 300ex?
and when your boy wants to step up and wants something bigger.. like a 450 and you say now so he gets the 400 and you buy a 450, and then you all go on longer trips and you need even more storage so you get the wife a recon, and then its underpowered with all the gear so you have to upgrade her to a rancher, then she gets stuck to due to all the weight so you take down to the honda shop to trade that rancher off on a 4wd rancher, and she looks across the showroom floor and sees that (soon to be yours) rincon.
and after mommy gets that big ol rincon your daughter says shes tired of getting beat by baby brother and she was the last on to upgrade so she wants a 400ex with reverse.

so now you have a rincon, 2-400exs, and a 450r... hows all that going to fit in the trailer???

beags your leaving out the fact that in a few years his camper wontbe big enough to fit everyone in it comfortably too!

I think ron needs a travel trailer with a deck on it and then hes gonna have to stack them high as heck lol..
