after i read the articles about it, i sent them an email asking(begging & pleading) that the market needs a two stroke. i mentioned how a gasgas quad cant be found if you tried.

they won't survive if they try to market them like they say. and i doubt anyone will pony up the big bucks one is going to cost.

x2...it would be easier to get a japanese 450 and buy a few different aftermarket components at a time than spend an arm and a leg all at once.

plus the people who race at the level that requires a full on mx style machine have sponsorship obligations that would conflict with the parts on the highland.

I just read the article in the home page and see they're using the 70 Cannondale frames they aquired from ATK.....then switching over to a full STAINLESS STEEL frame ????

That'll be heavy as H*E*double hockey sticks!

I think they meant CHROMOLY

The Highland Story is also tragic, 3 of the starters of the company were killed in a plane crash back in July. obviously slowed the release of the quads. I think they are trying to get the bikes out to the public then work on the quads. They're facility is located outside of Tulsa, Ok. I have relation there, if I make it down there, I want to go check out the facility...

....who says you couldn't buy one of their frames and modify to mount the 250r motor.... just saying.

cannondales handle more like an ex, so the only advantage would be to save a few pounds.
