87-88' and 91-92' 250X differences?

I had an 87' 250X back in the mid-90's. And, hopefully after this weekend, I'll have 92' 250X I'm buying off my cousin.

He and I were wondering, besides the plastic colors, are there any other differences between the 87-88' models and the 91-92' models???

not sure on any other differences....but 87 is the only year with a different bolt pattern on the front hub.

Yeah, I remembered that after posting. 87's had 4x110mm. both front and rear vs. 88'-91-92' having 4x144mm. front/4x110mm. rear.

'87 has the replaceable upper ball joints, and the '87-'88 have hinged foot pegs where the '91-'92 are fixed.
