anybody know the hp of these? how would it compare to the 450r?

i think the 450r has more by 10 but the 250 is lighter and faster on the bottom end but im not sure i have been out the loop for 2 long

are you talking about a 450r quad? i have a crf250 and obv the quads. the bike is def slower like flat out, you can feel that it doesnt have the torque esp. on a loamy track....but that said, the 250f is faster then the quad usually. the 250's are putting out around 30hp i think, but you only have one wheel that its turning and the weight is alot less. in a drag race on pavement its close.

yeah i was doing a little research for a hybrid, i have a 300ex and was thinking of putting a crf250 into it

the 250f makes roughly 36 hp. most 250fs make between 36 and 38. i would do something different and throw a 125 engine in there. it'd be tons of fun to ride, and the ktm 125 makes 37hp stock.
