When I go to edit my profile, I get the message "Sorry. The administrator has banned your email address. To contact the administrator click here."

Mods, can you guys fix this? I've never been banned so I don't know what the problem would be.

Its a temporary thing that has to do with gmail accounts. One of the those computer spammer things signed up over 1000 new member accounts which had to be deleted by hand. The only way to stop them is to block gmail for a period of time or so im told.

I was having the same problem, just changed it to my hotmail address and it worked fine

Obviously so, but I dont have another email besides gmail so it would be nice if they unbanned it.

I mean i could borrow my brothers stupid aol mail one, but whats the guarantee it will let me change it back?

Just make a new aol/aim email for free? It takes all of 2 minutes.

It was a computer generated spammer...over 1000 members a day that had to be deleted 1 by 1 (we do all activations manually) So you can see that it was a bit nutz and we had to do what we had to do.

We are sorry for any inconviences, but until it (spammer) moves on...blocking gmail was the only route we knew to take to stop the madness:ermm:
