that's odd know one's ever tried their own port work I'm not talking about hawging it out just cleaning it up maybe take a little out

I did on my old DVX400. Worked out good. I didn't go too extreme. I just cleaned it up with my dremel and used my finger to find high spots and edges. Then I took a 400 grit paddle bit and polished it up. Sprayed WD-40 into the polishing area every 20-30 sec. while using the paddle to give it a nice smooth shine. Its not hard, just take your time.

Was there any difference at all in power? I've been thinking about doing this with my r.
