hey guys i need to take the bowl off to un stick my float but i have never done this and dont want to **** it up. so does anyone have pics of the screws that i need to un screw? or any advise on how to fix this when i get the bowl off?

if you didnt already try tapping on the bowl of the carb more times than not that will free up a sticky float.

Yeah I tried everything. I was starting to take the bowl off but the brass screw was starting to strip. But I borrowed a screw driver that I think will fit better so I'm gonna go try that.

Sometimes if you tighten them just a little then try to loosen them they break free. Put the carb upside down on the bench and push down good and firm and wiggle back and forth... Then take one of the screws down to the local hardware store to match it up and get stainless allen head screws to replace the phillips head ones.

clean the outside before you open it. One spec of dirt will cause you a lifetime of headaches. Just get a toothbrush, spray the carb with carb cleaner, brake cleaner, or starting fluid and scrub

If that doesn't get them out, put the carb in a vice. Use the best fitting screwdriver, and gently tap on the end of the screwdriver while you are turning. This usually frees them right up.
