05 450r busted case

i just traded my 250r for a 450r, it has a busteed right inner case. its from the kick starter gear. any one else had this problem? any one have a good cheap case?

yes i just fixed mine.. is it the inner case half? or the clutch/waterpump cover? its most likely from holding the throttle open on kick start that will cause the motor to rev and does bad things to the kicker shaft .. you can find cases on ebay or might check on ORG. 450 forum. anyways just tear it apart replace any chewed up pieces and replace the bearings while your there and make sure to put back all the washers use loctite and good luck. oh id download a service manual i believe the link is 05trx450rsm

its the inner case, they said the kick starter stuck down and they pulled it up and caused it.

man that sucks thats kinda a freak deal but the aluminum is so thin its bound to happen id suggest when you split the case at least put some crank bearing in it if you have not done it in a while.. and maybe a stroker crank! good luck

im on the lookout for a cluch case cover and a right inner case, kick start gear for my 05, any mods that i should do while im in there? thinking of smothing out port work and crf top end gasket kit

just put a posting in the classifieds section and there has got to be somebody that is parting out a motor that could cut you a dela on the parts
