Heres the problem. Im having trouble figuring it out.
If 100 grams of boiling water at 100 *C is poured into a 100 gram platinum beaker at 0*C an intermediate temperature will result. Knowing the specific heat of water is approximately 32 times greater than that of platinum, approximate the resulting temp.
Specific Heat of water is 4.18 J/g *C
Platinum is 0.131 J/g *C
Thanks in advance
