Hey I painted my rims a few weeks ago, they turned out really good. I used Polyurethane paint. So far I rode it for about 2 hours in sand, mud and woods. The pint seems to be holding up well. I've done this before on steel wheels and the pint still looks new after a year, but that was steel. Mine are aluminm so I was a litle worried it won't stick, but so far so good.

ya I've had them for a few years now. It seems like every other 300ex or 250x I see has them on the front and rear, kinda strange. I had them on the front for a while, but got rid of them cause they were to wide. I ordered the wrong size. The ITPs seem to do well, and they look better.

What does it do when you flip your rims?

Looks like front wheel spacers to me. I have flipped rims on my 250x, and I do'nt think they come out that far

either way it throws your suspensions geometry off.
howd they work on your 250x?

Ya they are just flipped, no spacers. I was going to flip them back to normal but if I do I have to flip the valve stems back around. This put the inside out of fliped valve stem to close to the caliper and it rubs, sooo I have to grind down the valve stem end that would normaly be insde the wheel. I've already done this before and it is a pain in the ***. I think it would look better if the rims were fliped back to normal, burt I have not checked yet. It still steers fine with them fliped. The only thing I did notice is if Im stitting on the bike and turn the wheels the ty rods almost pull up on the suspension. I noticed it was alot worse with the front sitting higher. So I made a new shock relocator to lower the front and it is not that bad any more.

could you put up a list of instructions on how you did this? was it to your stacker aluminums?
