Hey guys im looking at buying a dirtbike and a friend of mine has a 2004 rm 125 that he is wanting to get rid of. It is in good condition and has been well maintained.

Some of the aftermarket parts include:

renthal bars
Fmf exhaust
works connection radiator braces
dyna ignition
graphics kit along with a seat cover
execel rims

I was wondering what is the average going prices are for these bikes. He is asking 1500 but is willing to let me have it for 1200. I'm just wondering if this is a good deal or not.

I'm not looking to low ball a friend but I'm also not wanting to pay more than the market value of the bike. Any help would be appreciated.

From what I've looked at, every state has different prices for bikes. Look on your local craigslist to compare prices of similar bikes...

1500 is almost a good deal. 1200 is definitely a good deal

Kinda hard without pics. If it runs good and looks good then $1200 is great.

offer him 150$$
But no seriously 1200 is not a bad price as long as it looks good and runs good

I was gonna say 1200 before I saw what he was willing to sale it for. They are a dime a dozen and around ky you can get a RMZ450 around 2000-2500 my buddy is asking 2500 for his 07 RMZ450 and its been redone and in great shape with suspension
