wiring question

Back by the tail light wire, what are the two wires with rubber cups around them for? i've disconnected my brake light so i was wondering if i could just cut all of thoes wires off my harness. do i need any of them?

if your talking about the optional wires yes you can get rid of them

I havnt got any idea why they are there .... they are on my 250R as well but not my 06, they are for a lite hook up option

I have 09 kickstart i cut all the wires that go to tail light near the carb and it would not run had to connect i think it was three green wires together.

I know alot of duners use them as a place to hook up their lighted flags. No need to splice them in, just plug into the provided plugs.

Yes, you can get rid of them.

as far as your situation! you really shouldn't just cut wires that you dont think you need... open the harness first and check with a schematic were they all go before making any cuts
