Those of you that hav done this swap what kind of bracket did you make for the engine mount?

thinking of doing this swap but don't want to tear may quad apart right after a freshly painted frame.

Is there a "bolt on" option?

Don't know of a bolt on option. You need that rear piece welded in your frame to run a 88-89 arm. Otherwise you don't have a rear motor mount. My advise would be to find a 86-87 arm.

could you find an aftermarket early style swingarm, that is the 88 length?

i have not owned the 86/87 frame before, but may in the near future

ordering one for the 86, that is definatly the easier way to go. Cheaper? Probably not but much easier. I was just curious as there was one for sale on the borads and noto sure if I shoudl go that route or what.

Thaks for the info!
