View Full Version : Bare Gusset Kit Install Question

Welding in the Bare Gusset Kit on my 06 ER and everything was going fine till we got to the shock piece. The instructions are not helpful at all and all it says is to weld it where it wont interfere with the bracket there and we have seen no way that you can weld it there without cutting the bracket up. So if anyone knows how to do this could you please post a picture of it or put in some type of input.

I dont have the bare kit but I know if you cut your fenders u dont really need that extra bolt so there for you can take off that bracket and then weld your gusset in there

i have that gusset set on both of my quads. i called them and was told to bend the gusset a little and notch the fender support i did so. been riding full fendered , xc and have had 0 issues for yrs!

x2 Just notch out the fender bracket.
