just bought a yfz450r

i plan on getting mx tires and rims and some nerfs. do you guys suggest anything else to help durability or handling wise?

bumbers and if possible a-arms if you want it wider

if hes doing all mx, he might not want skids. if you do, id just get a sprocket and rotor guard and a poly frame skid or leave the stock plastic ones

handling wise... get a steering stabilizer, precision if you want the absolute best, ccp works almost as good just not as adjustable for about a third of the price. if you got some money to spend get an axle, a-arms and shocks

holeshot mxr6 r great tires. itp rims r good to. i dont know if i would recomend pro armour nerf bars, they look cool but they fit like crap, had to re drill the holes in the brackets, they were all out by an inch. the welds got in the way for the net bolts, and i still have to gring down the nerf by the foot peg, or grind the bolt off because the top bolt is about a half inch to far away.. but most of the time they fit good, could have been a flawed set, or the yfzr ones r bad.

thanks guys. I now plan on rath nerfs, and ITP Pro lock rims in rear with either razr cross tires or itp mxr6. i race from sand- to loose dirt tracks so idk what tires to get. and just ITP gp front rims on the same tire i get for back.

i have a precision on my mx 400ex and love it, but that comes after the nerfs, tether and rims/ tires

a pipe is later on for me as the stock motor and pipe setup is plenty powerful for my 125lb body. my 400 however felt sluggish.

and i had pro armor nerfs on my honda at one point, they SUCKED lol all the welds broke and they fit like total garbage. ill post a pic of my honda so you guys can see what im coming off, then ill post one of the new yfz450r
