some of you may have seen my thread about disassembling.. well heres the thread for the paint.
looks like powder coat to me :)
it's rattle can truck bed liner and i've used this stuff on ALOT.on my truck, i've used it on sliders, bumpers, bed bar, skid plates.. it might be a favorite paint.

now i used it on the frame.

prepping:
sand all frame enough to scratch up clear coat a bit.
sanded down to frame on parts where original paint was peeling.

4 layers total:
1 layer of self etching primer
3 layers of liner.

the bran id rust-olemium if i'm not mistaken. bought at wally world.. cost is around $18 total? not counting primer since i has some laying around.

Do you know how well this stuff will hold up? And i wonder if they make different colors?

if you prep right, it hold up wonderfully. as i said in my first post, i use this stuff on my truck all the time. i painted my wheels on the quad with it too and it held up great till i decided to do a couple hours worth of creek riding.
just average riding/mx, you'll be fine.

i doubt it comes in other colors.. i've never seen it if it does.

I would use it just for MX.

Auto Paint? My quad will ONLY see MX tracks, except the occasional first gear family trail ride.
