a arm re-instalation

i was trying to re-instal my arms after painting them and when i wanted to bolt the spindel back to the arm the bolt turns on itself, i was thinking i might have to remove the boot around them because i think theres has to be sumting to stop it from turning.

any sugestions ??

you can get a c-clamp and clamp both together and that normaly helps ive had to do it on tierod ends before and it worked

Push the boot down alittle.There will be a spot to hold it still with I think a 10 or 12mm wrench.

so i just need to push it down not remove it ?

That is correct.When you push down alittle grease will come out.

and sticking with dum questions i bought a uni airfilter on ebay the guy said it was for a trx 400 but it seems to be really small
here it is next to the stock one, like the metal part doesnt it even fit into it ,

is there a size difference between an 03 (like mine) and an 04 ex

The ball joint doesnt have a place to hold(the tie rod does) youll need to clamp the ball joint to the steering knuckle. That filter looks like its for the utility type 400, the one for the ex is alot bigger. I can take pictures of both if needed.
