ok so i got a 86 ford f350 with a cummins swap done to it. i got it from a family member and the rear fuel tank is a 40 gallon and that is the only tank, and it doesnt have a thing too hook a gauge up to it. i have the 2 factory tanks with the sale of the truck and then i was going to start working on it today and i crawled under the truck and the front tank was already up there so there are 2 tanks in there. my question is if the fuel pump is on the engine block do you need one in the tank? I was just going to hook the two tanks up on one line so then it would be taking it from the two tanks at the same time. but the factory ford tank has a pump in the tank and i dont know if i have to have that powered or not.
thanks for the help. dont know much about the fuel delivery part of this...
