Pep ZPS shock question...please help quickly.

I am looking at some brand-new Pep ZPS shocks set up for +2+1 a-arms, a 190lbs. expert level rider. I am 275lbs. and a rookie racer (XC) would these be OK for me without rebuilding?

they would be almost perfect for xc (i think, i'm not an xc racer though) because they would be a little to soft for MX, and i do believe that the XC racers ride a little softer suspention set up
