i have a 09 ds450xc and it isnt charging enough so when the fan comes on it doesnt have anough charge to run the fan and fuel pump so it shuts off, there is only 29 volts coming out of the stator wires could it be the wires or something bigger

Are you checking @ 4000 rpm? Your suppose to get 50 vac at each YL wire, check it at the rectifier connecter @ 4000 rpm. If less repeat the test @ the stator connector, make sure to check the stator harness wires not rear harness side. Wires are YL/BK-YL, YL/BK. Check wire continuity at the rectifer and stator of each YL wire to .1-1 ohm.

we got it all figured out the 20 amp fuse wasnt blown but we could only get cotinuity thru it now and then so we switched it out and it seems to be charging thanks for the help
