I was just surfing and stumbled upon a 2010 husky cr125 two stroke. any truth to this? has anyone ridden one? I'm Probly way behind on this one but I didn't think anyone made production smokers anymore. maybe other companies will follow suite.

KTM 150 SX, 250 SX and KTM 300XC 2 strokes…I believe they have a 350 2 stroke as well; may be wrong on the 350…

I forgot all about the KTMs, but I didn't know yamaha still made 2 strokes. did they just start again or did they never stop. you'd think they would still make the banshee or maybe bring it back since it was so successful.

they never stoped. the YZ is the only big company still putting money into 2 strokes. They still make the banshee. just dont sell it in the US. some countries still have it I know here in Canada there is a 2010 banshee not sure about next year though.

Yeah, 2 strokes are still popular everywhere but here.. (i.e. U.S.) Everyone else still has it figured out I guess. The Husaberg 2S lineup is only available outside the US, so I hear. Check the video they talk about dual iginition curves switcheable and also E-start which is cool...

the husky dealer down the street from my house have one or two. the sales guy i know said they only sell when the prices drop alot. they 4-pokes move often.

on a side note. they used to also deal can-am and i was told they had a couple can-am 300 2-stroke quads. i didnt even know the dealer existed until it was too late.

I looked on yamahas Canada website and it didn't say anything about a 2010 banshee? are you sure they still make them? I did however notice that a 2010 yamaha R1 is $17,000 Canadian. yikes!!!!! how much is that in usd I know we are pretty close to equal money now, and they're only about 10,000-11,000 here.

Prices in Canada for everything is way more thats why i bought my 250r in the US. Guys here still want $3500 or more for a 86/87 that looks beat with not much on it other than a DG pipe! My brother and I are looking at buying new snowmobiles in the US this fall. We can almost get a 2 for 1 deal compared to the Canadian price. The worst part is that its a sled built in Canada but we get stung with paying the high prices. Bombardier does the same thing with their quads. You pay allot more for them here and there built in Quebec.

17000 for a brand new R1 is about what the sticker usually says when the bike sits at the dealership for 8-10 months.

I live 1km from the border and around here the dealers are starvin. bikes are too damn expensive. 1 km down the road and I can buy a nice bike for 2grand ish.

wow those are some nice bikes. Anyone notice the list the 5 speed gear box on every motor size? It almost seems like they are running the same trans on a 250 and a 700?? thats insane, but then again maybe its a super powerful trans.
