How does the spark plug cap come off the pug wire? Does it screw off?

No, you just pull it and it will pop out.

If you are talking about the blue spark plug boot, yes. I don't think this is a separate piece from the coil though. I believe it's all one piece.

Yes, I am talking about the blue spark plug cap (boot). The cap is sold separately. The plug wire is sold with the coil. I was told that the cap unscrews from the wire. Just making sure this is right.

Learn something new every day. I've never taken the cap apart from the wire. I'm sure someone will chime in.

I know the replacements do screw on..... as far as the stockers Im not sure, they might be crimped..try it what do you got to loose? if it doesnt move right away just cut as close to end as possible....the replacement requires a fresh cut end anyway

They screw on at both the coil and the cap!

you cant pull it out unless you take the tank off and the cover under the tank nad the boot pulls right out and then swap them and then put the tank back on and go ride!
