I feel like a idiot asking this question but i was rockymountain looking at tires and i was looking at the maxxis razr mx tires which r 18x10x8 (rear) which the stocks are 20x10x9 so a 9 inch rim and well it says that it fits a stock 400ex? yet different wheel size so would it?

if the 400ex has a 9inch rim, a tire designed for an 8 inch rim will not fit. Sorry man.

20x10x9 as long as u get a 9 rim size ur good

pretty sure it was 22x7x10. I would get 21 inch fronts though.

tire diameter x width x rim diameter

22" tall x 7" wide x 9" rim

any tire with a x10 that is 7-8 " wide will work for the fronts. so a 18-23" would work most are 20-22 though. rears range from 18-22 also but are 10-12" wide most of the time and most come in an 8", 9", or 10" rim. these would be most of your choices for tires. the width depends on the manufacturer of the tires most of the time.
