white smoke when i start it

my quad is starting to have white smoke out the exhaust right after i start it up when i get on the gas hard, but then quits when it gets warmed up... do i need new piston rings? or could it have anything to do with the valves? i havnt checked them for a while... just would like an idea of where to start. thanks!

White smoke is coolant burning. I would try replacing your head and base gasket.

well that would make since. been smellin anti freeze after i ride... thanks hopefully it works

btw, you can cold seize it if you get on the gas hard right after you start it up...
