I bought my whites OEM for 300.00 from JH Racing but I'm not sure if he is still open for regular business.

Service Honda total comes to $353. Not sure on the shipping though. Just a reminder-06 and up plastic will not fit a 04 and 05 without modification. I wanted to do the same with my 04, but I was told you had to modify it.

Believe it or not, I priced Maier plastic, and OEM. OEM is actually cheaper. Never though that would be the case!

Replace the heat shield under the tank with one from an 06 and newer 450R and there's no other mods required.

I didnt even do that. I just used a razor blade to trim the piece that was on the back of the rear plastic under the tank (on riders left) and viola!! Fit perfect. It needed no work on the other side. Fronts required no mod at all either. I got mine from Yamaha / Honda of Troy. Got 2 sets from them in fact.

No. I wish I did now because this subject has come up several times now and I have since replaced the white with 05 red. I sold the white to someone. All I really remember was I cut a small slit in the tab on that side so I could minipulate it to fit over the tab on the frame. Its really easy to do just kinda look at it and where it lines up on the frame and you'll see what I mean. It fit really flush.

Heres a pic of it when I had the white on it. Its hard to see that area but it was the only place that I had to fix.

just looked $72 for each front, $151 for rear..

yamaha of troy is a joke heard a bunch of bad reviews about them. I ended up getting all free wheels and tires from them for my raptor though. They took forever to send the item and i did a dispute with paypal $500, and they never responded and sent the wheels and tires eventually anyway lol tells you how unorganized they are right there

How does the rear plastic hook inby the seat? I looked up the 06 plastic and it looked diffeent than my 05. Mine has a front tab that is flat. The 06 seemed to have a round shaft. How does that work in swapping to 06 plastic?

I have been looking at the microfiches of the 04 and 07. I have noticed that the brackets for the front fenders are different as well. Do the mounting locations on the 07 white plastic line up with the 04 brackets? Just don't want to make the mistake in ordering a set of plastic, and they don't fit my 04. Also, the rear fender mounting system up by the gas tank appear to be different as well. 04 is a flat tab, and on the 07 micro, it shows a blow up of the front portion. It appears to be a shaft of some sort. What is this?

any plastic will fit any year. the ONLY differance is the heat sheild under the gas tank. I have been running 07 white fenders on my 05 for 2 years. All i did was pop the rubber grommet out of my 05 heat shield and stuck the fender tab in.

Any chance I could get a pic of the tab? Just for piece of mind, does the white fenders have a round shaft or flat tab on it? Microfiche shows it is a shaft. Removing the grommet, how does the fender stay pushed in when riding?
