what is the lightest wheel and tire combos? im specifically interested in the fronts, but all discussion is appreciated.

depends on what kinda riding you do,i would go with hiper tech 3's and quadcross's

do not know about quad cross but hipers are one of the heaviest out

DWT fronts are lighter then front Hiper's. just compared them at a shop last Wednesday.

im interested in a very light combo. im trying to lighten the front some to better balance out the front to rear ratio. and with the choice of lightening the front or adding mass to the rear you all know the choice.

the best mass balancing will be done with your butt, just lean back. i'm not sure tire choice is gonna make that much difference. you could soften the spring preload on the rear shock a little, that will also make the front-end feel lighter. As far as tires, itp's are the lightest except for stock-type radials. But you're only talking a pound or two, so like i said, it's in the "butt" or the spring. oh, and adding weight to the rear is a no-no.
