what nerf bars

hi i just bought an 08 400ex was wondering what nerf bars to buy im looking for bars that are easy to install without cutting my heel guards thanks so much

Buy some with heel guards built in. I use pro armor on both of my quads and have no complaints.Ive bounced off trees,rocks other quads and no issues. They have package deals on the pro armor website.

are they easy to install how about modifications?

They just bolt up.no modifying. The thing i really like is they bolt up to the lower arm bracket,comes with longer bolts.If you want to run a full skid plate they don't get in the way.
