im looking into tires and im just courious on what you guys think are the best out there.
im looking into 22" tires b/c i trail ride and they are the stock tire dimension

I think the best tire for the 300ex is the ohtsu 501 radial. They are lighter than the maxxis and the grip great.

I have ITP trac stars on mine that I only used for one trip up north and they worked great on the trails and also on sand. I am thinking about selling them and getting something 20's because I like a smaller rear tire.

i looked at kenda klaw xc's
and curious if anyone out there is running them reason is because they are not as expensive... what are they like? keep the opinions comming

they seem alright,i would prefer a more straight like tire?not really balloony?if i were you i would get some razr's,razr2's,holeshot xc/holeshot gncc,razr ballance,or quadcross xc

my friend has mud lites on his, 22" but come out to be like 21" my g/f has razrs on her 300ex i built...they honestlyly rip more up...i put 20"s on hers and i wont run anything larger then 20" unless i am in snow

holeshot xct's. great in mud, not balloons, and wear amazing. mine are 3 years old, and have at least 50 percent tread left. i rode the crap out of it too. lots of road riding too. they are great.
