I saw in the paper that the local can am dealer was offering demo rides. I thought i would go try one of them ds450's out or a new outlander with power steering. But to my surprise when i got there they had a brand new Commander 1000 XT. The only other side by side's i have drove was some Rhino 660's. The first thing they told me is be careful we had an older couple put it on it's side. I guess it has a enoguh power that if you cut the wheels real hard it will roll easy. This commander was awesome it handled and rode really nice. I had it up to 55mph within a short distance. The owner said he had it up to 70mph. Then there MX racer said let me take you for a ride in it. I said ok and we hit this little jump at around 25 to 30 mph and jumped maybe 3 feet in the air and it landed really smooth. I have never been in the air in a side by side that's the weirdest feeling ever landing nose first! Then he said watch this and locked it in 4x4 and went through a swampy area and climbing up over a little embankment.
