Take some CAD, computer, engineering, drafting, shop/metal classes, if theyre available. www.macdizzy.com has some excellent info on 2 stroke motor building.

Take any mechanics, weldings, machine courses in highschool that you can . Take CAD ( Computer Aided Drafting) also. Im taking Civil Engineering in College right now but plan on switching to a different program once i graduate from this course . AutoCAD is some fun stuff to play with once you understand it all . Practically design anything you want on a CAD program ( frames , a-arms, swingarms, engines, etc. )
