i found about a half full bottle of jager under my car seat and was wondering if it's still good to drink? it's in the freezer now but was wondering if it'll still get the job done.

I don't see why it would go bad

beer can go bad if left in heat. i figured it's been hot in the car for a few weeks and wasn't that sure. i know if it's cold it would be okiedokie but since it has been +100° i wasn't sure.

i'm just asking because i never aet/drink anything within like a month of it date. i don't even eat leftovers over a day old. it all started after i drank milk a month past expiration. the clear liquid goes to top and yellow chunky stuff goes to the bottom:( i should have looked first lol.

In the old days there was no refrigeration and they used alcohol all the time so I think you’ll be fine.http://planetsmilies.net/party-smiley-550.gif (http://planetsmilies.net)

Its not heat that ruins alcohol so much, its the UV rays of the sun....hence why beer goes bad when left outside. Drink it, its fine.

you do know that glass blocks 100% of uv rays right?

I was merely quoting the guy before me. Sorry mr. moderator, I didn't mean to offend anyone in here by trying to be a smartass, you do know about smartasses don't you? Of course every thread in the open forum stays 100% on track by the 3rd page, so the fact that you picked mine out makes me curious, why me?

I picked you out because you made the first silly comment in the thread? Seems pretty cut and dry

He wasn't referring to beer left in a car going bad because of UV rays...he was referring to be beer left outside going bad because of UV rays...then goes on to say that the bottle is fine, go ahead and drink it...he didn't mention anywhere that it was ruined by UV rays after sitting in the car...

But hey what do I know

oh come on guys let's not turn this into a court case, as I said I was simply directing my post to the guy that posted before me (not to the original poster), in that sense it was relevant. I am very glad the man drank his jagermeister and encountered no problems.

gonna have to break out the cat here...

Sound like a bunch of ladies in here. A open Jager is always a good Jager. Same with beer vodka whiskey.

I never had old jager but at a trailer sat a bunch of booze for almost 15 years. Jack, Bacardi, Goldschlager, Fire water, Vodka, and some others. All was still good. There was a lot of beer to but no way would I have drank it but im sure it would still get you drunk if you could keep it in your gut long enough.
