I'm working on a friends 06 450ER trying to get the carb tuned in. He's got an air filter, FMF pipe, green wire mod. The only thing he did to the carb was a 190 jet the rest is stock. I havn't messed with the 450's I've got a 400ex and not sure where to start with one of these. The elevation around where we ride is 500 to 900 ft. Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

So whats wrong with the way it is running, what issues? I have heard that unless you change the cam you dont need to do the wire mod, that you won't notice any change.

For summer time with air box lid off, fuel screw 1 3/4 turns out 42 pilot 55 leak hrc neddle 3rd grove from top 162 main. accp timing screw 1 1/8 out from stock. just call baldwin and get 1 of his jet kits. for winter adjust fuel screw go to 165 main.
