my cousin is looking to buy either a yamaha or a suzuki utility quad in the 400 to 500 cc 4x4 range but he doesent know much about either brand it wud b great to hear sum input thanks

I don't know much about the Suzuki's, but the Yamaha Grizzly 450 is an awesome machine. They have high-low shift, a park gear, full IRS, wet rear brakes, a locking differential and a really comfortable seat. For 2011, they're available with power steering as well.

The only thing the Grizzly 450 really lacks is EFI.
