Has anybody tried fitting the EFI of a CRF to the 450r ?

Swapping dirt bike motors into quads have been done for years. Not sure why you think they wouldn't hold up. Hybrid quads were everywhere before the rule change by the ATVA. I wish Honda, as well as the other manufacturers, would give us the potent dirt bike motors, not some detuned machine.

Correct me if im wrong. I thought that I read somewhere that the power for the feul pump is generated by the crank instead of a battery. Wouldn't that make it alittle difficult to add to the quad?

no . where do you think the kicker gets it's power and the battery gets charged from.?

Sorry,i should have googled it.The efi has a seperate ac generator to power it once the bike is started.
