I have been thinking about this for a while.. VERY stupid I am just curious!

If you got a SBF and had each header run to say a HMF slip on, would it should like 8 575cc quads roarin at you or what? (~575cc x8 = ~281ci SBF

It wouldnt sound like quads..

It would be loud as hell, and basically sound like muffled zoomies (funny car style headers).. and not very well muffled either.

And when did Ford make a 281CI small block..

Smallest I can think of is a 289.. and unless you put that engine in a pretty light, aerodynamic car you're gonna hit a wall with it eventually where it wont go but so fast.
