View Full Version : My Nacs Laeger 250R

I bought it last week, it was an unplanned purchase. One of those things that just happens. It was a great deal and I couldn't say no. The guy I bought it from, bought it directly from Doug Gust, it was his 2000 national practice bike. It has his name and shock settings engraved on all the remote resevoirs and shock bodies.

I'm super excited about it, I'm going to do some trail riding on it this fall and then I'll most likely part ways with it. The last thing I need is another quad sitting around that I don't ride. I would much rather have the $ out of it and use that to fund my LSR Ti build this winter.

It has the narrow frame, cr500 linkage with a +3 tpin front end. The motor is a LRD 265, and all the shocks are PEP longtravel.

The guy you bought that from didn't buy it directly from Gust. I was about to buy that quad in Feb of '09 from a guy by the name of Tim. He lived outside of detroit. Tim told me he bought it a few years prior from a guy in Upper Michigan. He was told it was one of Gust practice quads though. Some other guy got there before me and bought it. Either way nice quad!

Sorry bud its not for sale. After a little luck and a lot of hard work I've had some good fortunes come my way and I'm thinking about keeping it as a spare bike. At the very least I might strip it down, keep the motor and a lot of the parts and sell/part out the chassis some day.
