hey i'm looking for a good comprehensive linux book. i've installed a few differnt distros a few times but after that i don't know what to do. i would like to setup some sort of firewall/nat setup to get rid of the stupid linksys box. worthless, i hate those things they are the worst about port blocking. you unblock ports then other users can't get outside acess grr...anyhow any sugestions? it's not really going to be a desktop PC so it doesn't need to have a fancy GUI. i would actually prefer not to use a GUI just so i can learn the OS. but i know that there has to be one of you with a good sugestion. and "use win2k or NT" isn't an option =P i would but i want to actually learn something hehe.

Sam's has an excellent book on the red hat distro (comes with disc's)

Also the 'bible' series of books is very good (also comes with disc's)

I've got the sams book for RH 6, and the "bible" books for RH 7.1 and 7.2 make an offer on any/all.. (there all VERY good books that deal with MUCH more than just getting KDE/GNOME to run).
