On my 08 i cant stand the way it turns compared to my 05 bikes. I want to do the front end conversion but i keep hearing different things about what you have to change.
Is all i need to change over the 05 spindles and hubs? or do i need a whole 04/05 front end? (a arms, tie rods, hubs, spindles)

One person tells me that all you have to do i bolt the 05 hubs and spindles onto my 08 arms and thats all. And then another says i have to have the whole front end to see the difference. So whats the final verdict? Do i need to do a complete front end swap from my 05 to my 08. or just steal the hubs/ spindles off of it.?

And what exactly does the 05 conversion change over the 08? Does it just turn sharper or is it the differences in the Geometry. Or both?

been told you need to swap either upper or lower a-arms.. one is a different length and that is what changed the camber. google for a honda microphiche and compare part numbers to see what changed.

if your buying parts you might as well go aftermarket, alot of them have adjustments for that.

you need 04-05 spindles, hubs and upper arms. thats all

yea i think the 04-05 top arms (or vice versa) are longer so it makes the top of your wheels stick out instead of in. I helped a buddy change his stock arms on an 06 with 05 housers and we tried on the 06 spindles and it pushed the top of his wheels outward. The reason you have to change the hub is because one of them is too wide for the brake caliper. Supposedly the 04-05 has better handling but I honestly never felt a difference. I probably would if I had an 06 on hand while I was riding my 05.

Im curious on this subject as well. So if im reading correctly, I could take my whole 04 front end (top and bottom arms spindles hubs etc) and put it all on an 08? Is that correct?

While were on the subject, will the axle bearing carrier, and nerfs fit from 04 to 08?
