hi i gotta 08 yfz and it just one day decided to start cuting in and out and running real hot...one morning i went out and fired it up and it didnt run for more than 2 minutes and the header was red hot like a coal ina fire and wen i gave it gas it backfired alot and shot flames...tryed changing cdi box it didnt work ..did coil...and voltage regulator ..need help thanxx

my friend is having the same exact problem with his 06 right now he just brought it down to the shop as soon as we find out whats up ill post it sounds to me like your timing is advanced somehow thats what i told him too...

its gotta 172 in it ...it just upp and decided to start running weird one day wen i was rideing jetting is fine pluge is golden brown
