I had a local engine builder do an mx build on my engine a while back and am happy with it but am startin to look for a little more power. i have port and polish, baldwin 14 to 1 piston, oversize crf valves, xceldyne valve springs, web cam 613/729 grind, tokyo mod carb and 10 map ignition and trail tech crf ignition and flywheel. im startin to look at cams for more performance since my cam is on the top of the list and can be bolted in without any other mods to the engine i am lookin at the byrd cam, tokyo mod, and baldwin cam and am looking for input from people who have rode multiple cams, not just people who have ideas based off nothing, and if i do switch is it worth the 4 to 500 dollars for a new cam?

the difference you will see in other cams will not be worth 4 or 500 your next step is probably to go bb or stroke it

I have done a couple eads where I put the hrc kit in for people and was impressed by it but my web had a little more. (I tried an hrc my friend had before he put it in) wasn't too impressed

Get a professionally worked head thats seen a flow bench and is proven, not to take anything away from the local motor guy. But i think a professionally done head from a big name (DASA, Rage, Racers Edge, DRG) you will see the most gain.

But post this over on the org. Alot of guys over there that have crazy motors and crazy custom cam set ups. Some of them may be able to help you out a little more.
