drr vin code year ?????

how can i tell what year a drr is by vin code

I'm not positive if there is a letter or number in the vin that tells you the year but I know the newest 2010's have factory gussets where the large tube of the frame meets the smaller tube of the frame under the seat area. Besides that, I don't believe there were any major changes since the upper a-arm tube was put on the outside of the front of the frame.

10th digit from the left should be a number like a 1 would be 2001 and 2 is 2002 but 2010 should be an A if my memory is working correctly tonight?
