250r rear height measurement help please

Hey i'm doing a 450r swingarm swap on my 86' R, I'm using the 450r swingarm and linkage. I would like to use my 250r rear shock, and cut and reweld the linkage to achieve the same riding height as stock. I don't have the original swingarm and linkage to measure or work with. I was hoping a couple guys with stock R swingarms and rear shocks could measure from the top of the carrier to the rear of the frame (not grab bar), so that I could find out exactly where my R should sit. I'm desperate guys so any help would be great!
