400ex shocks on 300ex-Do they fit?

I can either buy a used set of 400ex shocks for $20 on Craigslist or a bushing kit for $45 to put on a 2002 300ex. Will the 400ex shocks mount up right?

Not exactly right no. You will need a shock relocation bracket. I know JB racing makes em, not sure who else does.

out side of a jb relocater or frame modification you should get a-arms and tie rods to give it proper handling

They might mount up stock to stock, but they would have your quad sitting to high (making it handle like crap), without the relocation mount, or some long travel arms
